School operation on PPP mode should be encouraged: CM Dr. Yadav

Activities of School Education Department reviewed

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the establishment of private schools should be encouraged in areas where there are no government educational institutions. Providing education to the students is an important and basic task. CM Dr. Yadav said that the system of quality education in government institutions should be continuously monitored.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the operation of schools on PPP model should be encouraged. CM Dr. Yadav was reviewing the activities of the School Education Department in the Mantralaya today. School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh, Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura and senior officers were present in the meeting. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised himself regarding the appointment of teachers of various categories.

It was told in the meeting that various educational facilities are continuously expanding under the Right to Education (RTE). Public co-operation is also being received for the development of basic facilities in schools.

Education Secretary Dr. Sanjay Goyal said that various arrangements have been completed for the schools under the first phase of CM Rise schools. Regular review is being done regarding the teaching level and study system in these schools. In the meeting, necessary instructions were also given to the senior officials of the Finance Department regarding the budget arrangements for the development of facilities of government schools.
