Mumbai, July 23 (IANS) Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who was last seen in the streaming movie ‘Bhakshak’, has praised the Sikkim government for their actions towards eco-conservation.
According to a recent official order issued by the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, all tourist vehicles entering Sikkim will be required to carry a large garbage bag mandatorily.
This decision aims to ensure community participation in achieving the goal of environmental sustainability, as stated in the order.
The actress recently took to her Instagram stories and re-shared a reel highlighting the new development and how it would increase eco-consciousness among people.
On the work front, Bhumi is set to make her OTT series debut with ‘Daldal’, where she will take on the challenging role of a cop.
The actress described her character in the show as a super achiever, a glass-ceiling breaker, and someone who rewrites the rules in a man’s world.
Bhumi previously called ‘Daldal’ one of her most special projects for many reasons.
The actress has started shooting for the project and mentioned that it’s one of her most challenging roles ever, without a shadow of a doubt.
Bhumi shared that it has been a very exciting year for her as an actress.
