Chief Minister Meets with Entrepreneurs from Four Districts in Chhindwara for Regional Industry Conclave

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that investment and industrial development in the state will significantly boost employment and trade. To support this, a Regional Industry Conclave is being organized in Madhya Pradesh. He shared these views during a meeting with industry associations and industrialists in Amarwara, Chhindwara district, on Tuesday. The meeting aimed to ensure the success of the upcoming Regional Industry Conclave in Jabalpur, scheduled for July 20, which focuses on the state’s industrial development.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the government aims for balanced development across all regions of the state by connecting local entrepreneurs with those from outside. This initiative seeks to achieve new milestones in agriculture, employment, trade, tourism, and other sectors. Despite the challenges, he urged everyone to move forward with a positive mindset and resolve issues collaboratively. Dr. Yadav emphasized that if small, medium, and large entrepreneurs work closely with the government, a new wave of development can emerge. Previously, industry summits were held only in Indore, but now they will take place in other parts of the state as well, addressing local industrial challenges. He encouraged industry associations and industrialists to promote investment, assuring them of support according to the industrial policy. Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of encouraging investment to achieve the goal of doubling the state’s GDP in the next five years.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said to direct investments towards sectors that can thrive based on local conditions. He highlighted the ample availability of land banks in the state for industrial development. During the meeting, he stressed the importance of focusing industrial investments on activities that generate employment and process local products. Regarding subsidies for establishing industries, he urged resolving challenges between buyers and sellers to foster progress in industry and trade. Dr. Yadav underscored the significance of prioritizing local considerations in all these initiatives, advocating for the local utilization of raw materials and increasing employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed all district collectors to address the challenges faced by industry and trade associations promptly, aiming to encourage investment and support small-scale industries for their enhancement. He underscored ongoing efforts to promote the dairy industry and directed officials to actively explore industrial opportunities within districts and divisions, ensuring effective implementation.

MP Shri V.D. Sharma emphasized that development should be inclusive and participatory, highlighting the significance of today’s meeting with industrialists in preparation for July 20th. He emphasized respecting the vision of small entrepreneurs in the state’s development and advocated for the adoption of a single-window system to streamline industrial problem-solving. Shri Sharma also stressed the importance of recognizing district potentials for regional development and encouraging youth participation in industrial activities. The meeting saw direct participation from entrepreneurs of Chhindwara in the industry associations’ discussions. On the other hand, industrialists from Seoni, Balaghat, Pandhurna attended the meeting virtually. Various industrialists expressed their views for development. Rakesh Juneja of Chhindwara, industrialists Shri Ritesh Jain, Shri Sumer Singh, Shri Ajay Saxena of Borgaon gave various suggestions. Entrepreneur Shri R.N. Dravid, industrialists Shri Subhash Budhraja, Shri Jitendra Patel from Pandhurna expressed their views on making industrial policies more friendly. Industrialists Shri Atul, Shri Harsh Dwivedi, Shri Pratyush Nema, Shri Abhishek Jethani of Balaghat expressed their views on food processing and Yogendra Pathak expressed views in the direction of setting up a manganese unit.

Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Promotion, while giving information about the industrial policy along with resolving the problem of water in industrial areas, said that there is a special action plan to promote the IT sector.
