Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the process of development is continuing with fresh resolve under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. We are moving ahead rapidly on the motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Vishwas”. Public representatives and administrative officers should ensure that the benefits of major flagship schemes of the government reach the bottommost person. Problems related to basic amenities of the general public should be resolved with sensitivity and promptness. He said that the process of making caste and bona fide certificates is being simplified. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Jan Samvad camp organized at Aastha Garden in Ujjain through video conferencing from Samatva Bhawan, the Chief Minister’s residence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted with the citizens present in the camp to apprise himself of their problems and instructed the district administration to redress them.

On behalf of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, a cheque of loan amount of Rs. 1 crore 47 lakh was presented to the women of Ujjain Livelihood Self-Help Group in the camp.

Baba Mahakal’s Sawari is the pride of the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the development works in Ujjain should be prioritized and completed. Under the ‘One District-One Product’ scheme, handloom, power loom, small, cottage, and retail industries along with selected boutique prints in Ujjain should also be equally promoted, so that more and more employment opportunities can be created. He said that the work of making idols of Gods, clothes, and puja material will also be started in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Baba Mahakal’s sawari is the pride of not only Ujjain but the entire state. Dance artists from tribal districts Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat etc. should also be included in the sawari. Cabinet ministers will also participate in Baba Mahakal’s sawari.

Ujjain city is moving towards becoming a metropolis

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that development works should be speeded up by identifying the notified areas of Simhastha. Ujjain is moving from the status of a city to a metropolis. He instructed everyone to make coordinated efforts towards creating a positive image of the city in the country and abroad. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the works of Simhastha should be taken forward with public participation. Ujjain should be developed permanently on the lines of Haridwar. He issues instructions to not allow illegal encroachments and to ensure policy-compliant construction work. The temples and ghats of Ujjain should also be renovated. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts will be made to create an IT park in the engineering college. Medicity is a big gift for Ujjain. He gave instructions to speed up the work of Medicity.
