Union Home Minister Shri Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Offer Prayers at Pitreshwar Hanuman Temple in Indore

Promotes Environmental Conservation by Planting Saplings on Pitru Parvat under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Campaign

Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shri Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav planted saplings at Pitreshwar Hanuman Dham in Indore under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign started for environmental protection on a call by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Earlier, he offered prayers at the Hanuman Dham temple and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Member Dr. Mahendra Singh also planted saplings.

Union Home Minister Shri Shah planted a Peepal sapling in memory of his late mother, Smt. Kusumben Shah, as part of the campaign. Similarly, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a banyan tree in memory of his late mother, Smt. Leela Poonamchand Yadav, and Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya planted a tree in memory of his late mother, Smt. Ayodhyadevi Vijayvargiya. They not only planted saplings but also urged the public to join in protecting the environment by planting trees and taking a pledge to keep the Earth green.

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur, local MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Rajya Sabha member Smt. Kavita Patidar, MLA Shri Ramesh Mendola, Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Mahendra Hardiya, Shri Golu Shukla and other public representatives and Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, IG Shri Anurag, Police Commissioner Shri Rakesh Gupt and Collector Shri Ashish Singh were present.
