12 lakh saplings to be planted in Coal Mine Region

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was called on by South Eastern Coal Field Limited CMD Dr. Prem Sagar Mishra at the Mantralaya. CM Dr. Yadav appreciated the efforts being made by SECL and assured to provide all possible co-operations by the state government in the field of coal mining in the state. CM Dr. Yadav was apprised by CMD Dr. Mishra about the contribution of the coal mines of the state in ensuring the energy security of the nation. CMD Dr. Mishra said that for the purpose of forest and environmental conservation in the Coal Mine Region of the state, SECL has signed an agreement with Madhya Pradesh Forest Development Corporation to plant 12 lakh saplings in the next 5 years.
