CM Dr. Yadav called on by Athletes Participating in Paris Olympics and Paralympics

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav todayat his offical residence was called on by the team of Indian athletes set to participate in the Paris Olympics and Paralympic Games 2024. The team includes three athletes from Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated all the athletes on their success and honored them with angavastrams, bouquets, and caps. The Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang and senior officials were present at the event. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav personally met and got introduced to the athletes.

Two players from Madhya Pradesh, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, shooting, and Vivek Sagar Prasad, men’s hockey, will participate in the Paris Olympics. In the Paralympics, three players from the state including Prachi Yadav, Kayaking-Canoeing, Pooja Ojha, Kayaking-Canoeing, and Kapil Parmar will participate in Blind Judo. All the players have received training at the Academy of Sports and Youth Welfare Department located in Bhopal.

It may be noted that Paris Olympics is being organized from 26 July to 11 August and Paralympic Games-Paris 2024 is being organized from 28 August to 8 September.
