Union Home Minister Shri Shah will inaugurate the Prime Minister College of Excellence: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is a matter of happiness that Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is simultaneously inaugurating the Prime Minister College of Excellence in all 55 districts of the state on July 14. The specialty of Excellence Colleges is that all courses will be available in them as per the new education policy and these colleges will be equipped with all the resources. The young generation will get the benefit of these colleges. All the ministers must attend the inauguration programme of the colleges in their respective areas. CM Dr. Yadav said this in his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers. The meeting started with the recitation of Vande Mataram song in the Mantralaya.

Dialogue programmes should be held in districts on the key points of the budget

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state budget is being appreciated everywhere. Dialogue programmes should be held in all districts on the key points of the budget related to public welfare and development. There should be discussions in the districts regarding the impact on the development of the state by the express-way being built to connect various regions of the state directly to the capital and the adequate amount provided to all departments.

Industrial activities should be expanded in all the districts of the state

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Investors Summit is being organised in Jabalpur on 20th July. Support and guidance programmes should be conducted in all the districts to expand industrial activities in the state. The problems of the local industrial unit operators of the state should be resolved and they should be encouraged by providing necessary assistance to expand their activities and increase investment.

Co-ordinated activities with neighbouring states will be expanded

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that co-ordination and co-operation will be enhanced in various activities with neighbouring states. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan has shown interest in developing a better network in places of religious importance in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Activities are also going on between the two states on the ‘River Linking Campaign’. Similarly, the possibilities of river linking campaign with Maharashtra have also been discussed. The innovation will provide adequate irrigation facilities in other districts including Chhindwara.

Target should be set at district level and plantation should be undertaken in coordination with all departments

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 5.5 crore saplings are being planted in the state under the plantation campaign. Hailing the plantation activities going on in Indore and Bhopal, he said that all districts should set a target for plantation and it should be carried out in co-ordination with all departments. CM Dr. Yadav said that people should also be motivated to look after the saplings planted in the campaign.
