Governor presented with 66th annual Public Service Commission report

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission Chairman Dr. Rajeshlal Mehra, Member Shri Chandrashekhar Raikwar and Secretary Shri Prabal Sipaha paid courtesy call on Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan. They presented the 66th annual report of the Commission to Governor Shri Patel.

Commission Chairman Dr. Mehra told Governor Shri Patel that the Commission had issued 61 advertisements for 5 thousand 391 posts for various departments of the state government in the year 2022-23. A total of 11 examinations including State Service Main Examination and State Forest Service Main Examination 2020 have been conducted by the Commission. The Commission has sent recommendations to the government for selection of candidates for a total of 554 posts. Advice for departmental inquiry and disciplinary action has been communicated to the state government in 145 cases. As many as 40 meetings have been organized for departmental promotions. The Commission has organized seminars on various aspects of question paper writing in competitive examinations.

Public Service Commission Chairman Dr. Mehra said that the Commission has produced a candidate-centric documentary film Pradipti, which is available on YouTube, to provide complete information about the examination rules and instructions to the applicants appearing in the examination and interview. The Commission is in the process of implementing One Time Registration and Mobile App soon for the convenience of the candidates.
