A pledge has been taken to conserve 212 rivers in the state, in which conservation work will be done. He said that in the future plantation will be carried out near the water structures. During the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the book ‘Kshipra Amarta Ka Awahan’ authored by Director Maharaja Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth Shriram Tiwari, Kshipra Amritsambhava, Sadanira (Jal Ka Utsav) books based on scientific analysis of Ujjain’s rivers along with satellite mapping for the first time in Madhya Pradesh and Sadanira-Ambuni audio-video CD by Shri Bharat Chaudhary of Hyderabad. Dainik Bhaskar’s newspaper’s book ‘Gaurav Gatha of Mahakal of Vaibhavshali Ujjain’ was also released.

Maa Kshipra was draped with a Chunari after performing worship as per rituals

On the occasion of Ganga Dussehra, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, along with his wife, performed Aarti and worshipped Maa Kshipra as per rituals and draped two Chunaris of 350 feet each from both the banks of Maa Kshipra at Ram Ghat. During this, public representatives including Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and a large number of devotees were present. On this occasion, the holy Ram Ghat was resonating with the chants of Maa Kshipra. Worship rituals were performed by Pt. Gaurav Upadhyay. Pandit Gaurav Upadhyay and his team presented Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with a picture of Ramcharit Manas and Baba Mahakal.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honored Saint Shri Balkrishna Vasudev Nath Dholi Buva Maharaj for his unique efforts to propagate the Shrinath tradition through Kirtan and Shri Harikatha. Similarly, Smt. Sitabai of village Ninora, who sold her own five bighas of land to build a ghat on the banks of the Kshipra river in village Ninora with the aim of conserving water, was honored on the stage today.
