Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will launch the ‘PM Shri Tourism Air Service’ to enhance connectivity for tourist destinations. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate the first flight from Bhopal to Jabalpur at Raja Bhoj International Airport on Thursday, June 13 at 9 am. This flight will go from Bhopal to Jabalpur via Rewa, and from there it will land in Singrauli. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also inaugurate the ticket booking counter at Bhopal Airport and provide boarding passes to the passengers.
Among those who will attend the state-level inauguration ceremony are Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State for Religious Trusts and Endowments (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Managing Director Tourism Development Corporation Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T and Additional Managing Director Tourism Board Sushri Bidisha Mukherjee.
Eight cities of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli, and Khajuraho, will be connected through air service. The PM Shri Tourism Air Service is being operated by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis through M/s Jetserve Aviation Private Limited (Flyola).
