Approval granted for operating air services in various cities of the state
Cabinet decisions taken under chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav chaired the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Mantralaya today. The Cabinet approved more than Rs 10,373 crore for various irrigation projects in Mandsaur, Rajgarh, Sidhi, Seoni and Balaghat districts. The Cabinet gave revised administrative approval to the Takhaji Micro Pressure Irrigation Project (irrigation area 3550.53 hectares) in Mandsaur district costing Rs 60 crore 3 lakh. Similarly, second revised administrative approval was given for Mohanpura Major Irrigation Project of Rajgarh district costing Rs 4666 crore 66 lakh (irrigation area 1,51,495 hectares).
While giving administrative approval to the Sitapur Hanumana Micro Irrigation Project (irrigation area 1,20,000 hectare) in Sidhi district, costing Rs 4167 crore 93 lakh, the Council of Ministers, in order of approval of this project, gave exemption from the imposed restrictions on the index prescribed for administrative approval and tender. As many as 663 villages of Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi and Singrauli districts will get the benefit of irrigation facility from the project.
The Council of Ministers gave administrative approval of Rs 332 crore 54 lakh for the work of expansion, renovation and modernization (ERM) of the canals of Sanjay Sarovar Project (Upper Wainganga) of Seoni and Balaghat districts. After completion of ERM work, additional area of ​​11 thousand 450 hectares will get the benefit of irrigation facility.
The Council of Ministers has given in-principle consent to convert Bahuti Canal under Bansagar Multipurpose Project into a micro irrigation project at a cost of Rs 1146 crore 34 lakh under the Modernization of Command Area Development work (MCAD) of the Government of India.
Approval for operating air services in various cities of the state
The Council of Ministers approved the proposal by the Tourism Department to operate air services in various cities of the state in collaboration with private operators under Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the state.
552 e-buses for 6 urban bodies under PM e-bus scheme
The Council of Ministers approved the operation of Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Seva Yojana in the state to expand the infrastructure of city bus services in cities and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Under PM e-Bus Scheme, 552 urban e-buses will be operated on PPP model in 6 urban bodies of the state (Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Sagar). With the approval for Payment Security Mechanism (PSM) in the scheme, the State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) has been authorized to approve, implement and monitor the scheme.
Rs 1100 crore approved for Chief Minister’s Urban Area Infrastructure Construction Scheme
While expanding the ‘Chief Minister’s Urban Area Infrastructure Construction Scheme’, approved by the Council of Ministers at a cost of Rs 800 crore, approval has been given to increase the cost of the scheme to Rs 1100 crore. The sanctioned period of the scheme has been extended from 02 years (2022-23 to 2023-24) to 03 years (up to 2024-25). Under the scheme, approval will be given to various infrastructure development works in urban bodies.
Nod to formation of Madhya Pradesh Allied and Health Care Council
The Council of Ministers has given nod to the formation of Madhya Pradesh Allied and Health Care Council under the provisions of the National Commission for Allied and Health Care Profession Act 2021. Under the decision, the Madhya Pradesh Para-Medical Council Act 2000 has been repealed and the Madhya Pradesh Para-Medical Council functioning under it has also been dissolved. Approval has been given to transfer the assets, working staff, responsibilities etc. of Madhya Pradesh Para-Medical Council to Madhya Pradesh Allied and Health Care Council.
Other decisions
The Council of Ministers has approved amendment in the Madhya Pradesh Work (Allocation) Rules to merge the work being done in relation to ‘Startup and Incubation’ under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department.
The Council of Ministers has given approval to constitute ‘’Madhya Pradesh Administrative Unit Reorganization Commission’ for the reorganization of administrative units of the state. Formation of Madhya Pradesh Administrative Unit Reorganization Commission, terms of reference of the commission, structure of the commission, salary/allowances, administrative structure and financial proposal were approved.
The Council of Ministers gave approval to give sixth pay scale benefits to teachers and employees of aided non-government institutions in the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department from January 1, 2006.
