Police post to be opened in Barodia Nonagir: Government stands with the victim’s family

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today, expressed grief over the Barodia Nonagir incident and said that we will endeavour to ensure that such incidents do not happen. The state government stands with the victim’s family. With such incidents being a regular affair, a police post will be opened here. While ensuring police management in the area, elders will also be taken into confidence. The loss of life and property is a matter of concern. I am with the bereaved family in this hour of immense grief. An impartial investigation is being conducted into the incident. Such a tragic incident should not be politicized.

Financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh 25 thousand will be provided to the victim’s family

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that financial assistance of Rs 8 lakh 25 thousand will be provided to the family of deceased Late Shri Rajendra Ahirwar. On the basis of post mortem report, half the amount of Rs 4 lakh 12 thousand 500 will be deposited in the bank account. The remaining half amount will be given on presentation of the challan.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited Barodia Nonagir of Khurai tehsil of Sagar district to console Ahirwar family in which Shri Rajendra Ahirwar and his niece Anjana Ahirwar were killed in the incident. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the house of Shri Pappu Rajak and met his family.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, former minister and MLA Shri. Bhupendra Singh, Narayavali MLA Shri. Pradeep Laria, Bina MLA Smt. Nirmala Sapre and other public representatives were present.
