Directions given in the meeting of ministers at the Mantralaya for investment promotion
Instill confidence in capable people of the state to invest. Encourage them to invest within the state. Utilization of raw materials of the state for production within the state will lead to an increase in local employment. There will also be an increase in income. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing the meeting of the ministers at the Mantralay for investment promotion. CM Dr. Yadav said that the tourism department organises road shows aimed at boosting tourist numbers within the state. Similarly, road shows should be organised outside the state to attract investment.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that co-operative sector companies should be provided more incentives to compete with private industry. This incentive will not only bolster co-operative institutions but also simultaneously boost farmers’ income. This will enable farmers to get fair prices for their products.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav apprised himself about the major facilities provisioned under the Industry Promotion Policy 2014 in the state, investment promotion assistance, infrastructure development, green industrial assistance, along with special unit assistance to large category units of the apparel sector etc. Necessary directions were also given on various investment promotion schemes.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deora, Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Minister of state (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal, Minister of Culture and Tourism Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi joined virtually. Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Principal Secretary Mineral Shri Ashok Varnawal, Principal Secretary Shri Raghvendra Singh, Managing Director MPIDC Shri Chandramauli Shukla were present along with other departmental officials.
