Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav dedicated 144 residential houses under the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Scheme by unveiling the stone plaque at the Police Officer Residential Complex in Jahangirabad. He visited the premises and interacted with the police family members and greeted them. On this occasion, Principal Secretary Home Shri Sanjay Dubey, Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Kumar Saxena, Chairman of MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Shri Kailash Makwana and Additional Director General of Police and Managing Director MP Police Housing and Infrastructure Development Corporation Shri Upendra Jain and police officers and their family members were present. Director General of Police Shri Sudhir Saxena presented a memento to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
It is noteworthy that the target is to build 25 thousand houses under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme for the police personnel deployed for the security of the state. Currently, the construction of 11 thousand 500 houses has started and about 10 thousand already finished. In this sequence, the foundation stone of 144 houses was laid in Bhopal. It is the effort of Madhya Pradesh Police to soon build such buildings at the district, section and police station level, so that better housing facilities can be provided to the policemen and their families.
