PM Shri Narendra Modi leads education sector towards a new direction. – CM Dr. Mohan Yadav

Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Knowledge Center inaugurated at MITS College Grand event organised on getting deemed university status

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed that the education sector is experiencing significant advancement under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Emphasizing the need to elevate educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh, the state government is actively working towards enhancing technical institutions similar to IITs. He highlighted the delight in the college’s attainment of deemed university status, enabling it to operate autonomously. Dr. Yadav extended congratulations to the college students, urging them to progress in the field of technology and contribute their expertise to the nation.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was addressing a grand programme organized in Gwalior today on Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Gwalior acquiring the status of Deemed University. He inaugurated Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Knowledge Center at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior.

Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia said that this is a day of pride for MITS. The dream of the founders of the organization has come true. The students of this institution have achieved leading position in many fields. The new building of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is being inaugurated in Gwalior. The students of the institute will benefit from this modern technological facility. Students coming to this institute will be made proficient in the fields of computer technology, science, artificial intelligence etc. A good class will start and they will get all other facilities.

Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan joined the programme virtually. He said that great personalities are associated with this institute. Madhavrao Scindia and Vijayaraje Scindia have made important contributions. The youth are getting quality education in the field of technical education. Many great personalities have emerged from this institute. It is a matter of joy that now MITS Institute will function as a deemed university.

Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that a new dimension of the block is being added in the country in the form of MITS Academy. This knowledge center is definitely equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Students will take advantage of this and will be able to serve all over the country. He said that MITS holds a prestigious position among engineering colleges across the country and the contributions of Late Shri Madhavrao Scindia and Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia can be attributed to this. The institute has been given the status of deemed university. MITS Director Dr. R.K. Pandit welcomed all the guests and gave information about the institute.

Horticulture Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha, MP Shri Vivek Shejwalkar, Shri Prashant Mehta, other members of the board and a large number of students were present.
