Mumbai, Sep 2 (IANS) The singer-composer-lyricist duo Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, who are all set to mentor the budding singers of the upcoming season of the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ shared that for them their journey has come a full circle.
Sachet and Parampara had became finalist of the first season of the reality show ‘The Voice India’ in 2015, and the duo was formed the following year.
When asked about their plans for the show, they said they plan to use the good cop-bad cop strategy, to deliver frank feedback without demotivating the contestants.
Sachet and Parampara said: “We’re thrilled to be part of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ it’s the most credible singing reality platform out there. For us, the experience is particularly special as our journey has come full circle- from being contestants to now mentors on a reality show, all in a short span of time.”
“It’s also a fantastic platform, and a pleasure to share the stage with the iconic Guru Randhawa and the talented duo Sachin-Jigar. We’re excited to explore the diverse talents on the show and to guide and inspire each contestant as they showcase their unique voices,” they added.
This time, the contestants will be groomed extensively by their mentors, each of whom will be deeply invested in the musical journeys of their protégés, adding value to their learning curve as they jointly vie for the coveted trophy.
‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is all set to premiere on September 14 on Zee TV.
Meanwhile, the duo has captured the pulse of India with beautiful songs like ‘Bekhayali’, ‘Mere Sohneya’, ‘Malang Sajna’, and ‘Maiyya Mainu’.
They are also known for their songs like ‘Subah Ki Train’, ‘Mere Baad’, ‘Nazarbattu’, ‘Har Har Gange’, ‘Sachiyan Mohabbatan’, ‘Psycho Saiyaan’, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’, ‘Dil Uda Patanga’, ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’, ‘Dilbara’, ‘Faaslon Mein’, ‘Barbadiyan’, ‘Jug Jug Jeeve’, ‘Baliye Re’, ‘Ram Siya Ram’, ‘Kudmayi’, ‘Jeena Sikhaya’, ‘Kya Haal Hai’.
On the personal front, Sachet and Parampara got married on November 27, 2020.
